UCLA - Editing and Publishing certificate

Hi, I’m Jenny, the editor behind Quill & Cauldron. My passion is helping creative minds boost their passion projects to the next level.

Exceptional stories have guided me through my entire life. I started my career in theatre, and I’ve spent nearly a decade as a project manager at Industrial Light & Magic, Lucasfilm's powerhouse VFX company. I've worked with some of the world’s most beloved franchises, from Star Wars to Marvel. When I'm not working on editing projects for my clients, I copyedit stories for ILM.com and produce behind-the-scenes content for visual effects projects.

After earning a certificate in Editing and Publishing from UCLA, I started my own editing business to immerse myself in the world of books and support writers who struggle to navigate the complex process of preparing a manuscript for publishing.

Editing is where structure meets creativity. It’s the hidden craft that turns a good idea into a powerful experience where readers lose themselves in the story.

Whether you’re a first-time author refining your debut novel or an experienced writer looking for a fresh perspective, I’m here to guide you through the magic and the mechanics of great storytelling.

When I'm not editing, I can usually be found reading a horror story or a lore guide for a role-playing game. I'm a lifelong Star Wars fan, a Nintendo gamer, a lover of British murder mysteries, and a true child of '80s culture.
