Manuscript Review
A manuscript review is a raven's-eye-view evaluation of your piece. I'll read your manuscript and give you clear, actionable feedback on what's working and what needs attention. For fiction, that means plot, pacing, character development, tone, and style. For nonfiction, it means structure, argument, audience, examples, and the takeaways readers carry with them.

Developmental Editing
A deep dive into your book's foundation. I'll provide feedback on how to engage your readers quickly and effectively and strengthen your overall structure. For fiction, that means addressing character inconsistencies and plot holes and refining dialogue, pacing, and storytelling techniques. For nonfiction, it means sharpening your core framework, organizing chapters so your argument builds, trimming repetition and tangents, and making your examples work harder.

Stylistic Editing (Line Editing)
Stylistic editing (sometimes called line editing—but that sounds less magical, don't you think?) is where we refine your prose and bring the writing to life! I'll go sentence by sentence to improve flow, clarity, readability, and impact while preserving your unique voice. Whether you're crafting vivid scenes or explaining complex ideas, I'll help every sentence land.

Copyediting
Light Copyediting: Fixes punctuation, spelling, capitalization, hyphenation, numerals, grammar, and word usage, and checks consistency in terminology, headings, and lists. Unclear terms and facts will be flagged but not corrected.

Medium Copyediting: Includes all light copyediting features, plus word choice refinements, sentence smoothing, transition improvements, passive voice reduction, and tone adjustments.

Heavy Copyediting: A medium copyedit plus direct suggestions for rewriting problematic sections to enhance clarity, impact, and flow—all while preserving your unique voice.

Proofreading
